Limited Fine Art Prints by Daniel Bagan

In 2013, I photographed Gloria Steinem and Dorothy Pitman Hughes as they recreated the iconic raised-fist portrait first made of them in 1971.

A limited number of Signature Edition archival fine-art prints are now available for acquisition. Limited edition of 100; fewer than 50 remain available.

About the Photograph

The portrait was created more than forty years after Gloria Steinem and Dorothy Pitman Hughes first posed together in the now-iconic 1971 photograph.

Their friendship and shared commitment to racial and gender equality gave the recreated image a meaning that went far beyond simply repeating the original pose.

Daniel Bagan’s portrait is represented in the collection of the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery.
